consider becoming a Class Governor. 

 

 

What is a Class Governor?

A Governor is the class representitive, for the Alumni Assoc.  Their input is needed to determine how the Alumni Assoc. is run, what events the Alumni Assoc. should sponsor, what can be done to encourage membership, etc.

1.  A Governor must be a member of the Steinmetz Alumni Association.

2.  Class Governors must be approved by the Alumni Officers.

 

3.  A class Governor must attend several of the Alumni Association meetings and/or events, each year.

 

There are also several committees that you can take part in:

  • Newsletter
  • Membership
  • Yearbooks
  • Public Relations
  • Website
  • Fundraisers
  • ...and more.

We are always grateful for any volunteers to help us with Alumni events, such as the picnic, concerts, fund raisers, etc.

 

Picnic Volunteer Opportunities:

a.    The sign-in table

b.  Selling of lunch tickets

c.  Sales table (selling yearbooks, jackets, sweatshirts, etc.)

d.  Overseeing the distribution of soft drinks, chips, etc.

 

Help is also needed with the set-up and takedown of the picnic equipment and supplies. These may include, but are not limited to:

a.  Bringing items such as soft drinks, chips, tables, chairs, etc. (these will be taken from the location the items are stored in and delivered to the picnic site.)

b.  Setting up of tables, chairs, PA system, etc.

c.  Take down of table, chairs, etc.

d.  Delivering items from the picnic site to the storage location.

e.  We can also use assistance overseeing of the picnic activities, such as the games (egg toss, water balloon toss, relay races, etc.)
